Training Manager - ASTD Job Bank

SBTCE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor?s degree and five (5) years of experience in project management and in developing and implementing training programs for business and industry, including instruction, curriculum development, and training needs analysis.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: ? Relevant project management experience and previous industry work experience desired; ? Must possess strong communication, presentation, computer, and management skills; ? Must be skilled in managing multiple tasks and responsibilities, problem solving and working with others; ? Must be willing to adapt to a changing environment; ? Ability to advise all levels of readySCTM staff in educational approaches to be used in training programs, including Agency/Division best practices and methodologies; ? Ability to evaluate and provide effective feedback for improvement to curriculum developers and instructors; ? Ability to ensure all training solutions are designed based on proven adult learning theory and principles and instructional design and delivery in today?s technology influenced work environment is a plus; ? This position requires that the candidate have strong facilitation skills, whether in leading or supporting roles; ? Candidate must be self-driven to work independently, as well as part of a team; ? ASTD membership; and ? Relevant industry and professional certifications.
