We are searching for a Chief Financial Officer. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the Executive Team, reporting directly to the Company?s Chief Executive Officer. The CFO will provide strategic leadership, management, and vision to the Company, and be able to create and execute a financial plan and company-wide strategy that achieves the twin objectives of profitability and sustained financial strength. The CFO will also be responsible for developing and implementing programs to increase the Company?s financial capabilities by strengthening the balance sheet and capital structure. In addition, the role is also responsible for overseeing and creating sound financial/accounting policies, capital plans, profit plans, financial analysis, performance standards, taxes, information systems, and investor relations. In addition to the corporate financial functions this position also oversees the Legal Department. The CFO must also be able to work closely and collaboratively with the CEO, the Executive Team, and with other key stakeholders, both internally and externally, in the execution of his/her duties.

Position Requirements:

Successful, broad-gauged financial executive with approximately 15 years of experience and a proven record of accomplishment with dynamic and well-managed companies.
A financially-oriented executive who knows how to make money and is operationally oriented with the capacity to ?go beyond the numbers? in dissecting/analyzing a company?s business practices and product lines; and in identifying/exploiting opportunities for reducing costs, improving productivity, and enhancing profit performance. Strong business acumen. Ability to quickly grasp the business and economic issues, and develop best practices and find solutions.
Previous experience having successfully worked in a highly creative, entrepreneurial, high-growth business is essential, as is the ability to quickly assess the Company?s organizational structure; operating philosophy; culture; and lines of responsibility, authority, and communication.
Well-grounded controllership experience, coupled with exposure to treasury function and knowledge of strategic planning are key criteria. Proven track record in finance and control within a sophisticated finance organization with a highly customer-service-oriented environment characterized by dynamic, fast pace.
Familiarity with e-commerce applications preferred.
Experience with various financing vehicles including secondary offering, stock splits and mergers and acquisitions, is preferred.
The candidate must have the ability to effectively interface with senior management and positively add value to the strategic planning process.
The candidate should possess extensive and current knowledge of best-in-class principles and practices associated with accounting, finance, systems, quality initiatives, and related issues.
Superior analytical and strategic planning capabilities, coupled with a thorough grasp of corporate development, finance, and information technology. Proven experience in assessing strategic alternatives and pursuing acquisitions and strategic alliances.
Open and straightforward operating style; someone with a natural and effective consultative approach who will gain the trust and respect of employees at all levels.
A hands-on team player who can operate effectively in a collaborative environment; strong interpersonal and communication skills, and able to function effectively as a member of the company?s Executive Team while forging close working relationships with key line mangers throughout the organization.
An excellent spokesperson, who deals effectively with both external and internal constituencies and stakeholders, including members of the investment community, the parent Company, and employees.
Global perspective. Understands requirement for cultural sensitivity and has had exposure to international business dealings.
Experience in working closely with a legal department.
Strong analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, technical and communication skills.
Ability to introduce the company effectively to the investment community and M&A targets/joint venture partners.
Exceptionally bright, possess a high energy level, and exhibit strong leadership skills.
Results-oriented self-starter who is looking to make an impact on the business.
Ability to operate as a strategic ?thought partner? to the Executive Team, and thus possess excellent business acumen and planning skills.
Team-oriented, a business partner to the other Executive Team members, and be willing to push back and challenge the ?status quo.?
